After a couple of posts of Cricut cards I thought I should change things up and bring out my stamps. This weekend I finally cleaned and organized my scrap area for the first time since I moved into the new place. I gotta admit I really miss my old scrap studio in the old house but thats about all I miss about that house. From what I heard the old house flooded again so my studio would have been under over a foot of water so glad I moved out when I did.
Its funny how when you clean out your scrap area you find things and stamps you forgot you had. I didn't even realize I had the stamp sets I had! I was actually looking at a stamp set last week that I already had. Ugh. Tools, glitter, brads all things I had forgotten I had. I found 15 page kits that I had forgotten about too. LOL One of these days I will be able to get so caught up that I will actually have to go to a scrap store before I do a page.
So with Valentines day coming up I thought I would make a Valentine's day card. I love the color combo Black Red and White so I used that as my inspiration.
The center stamp is from Great Impressions which I got last year at a workshop I took at Ink About It. The PP is some scrap I had laying around in my scrap pile. The CS is Red Riding Hood. I used Martha Stewart glitter and some Diamond Stickles. The Hugs & Kisses stamp is from SU All Holidays set.
Hope you enjoy!
Wow - this is very pretty! Great job.

Elegant and modern at the same time.
I have been doing clean up in my craft area and have found a lot of things I forgot I had. And so much of it I don't even like anymore so the local elementary school is going to get a big box full of paper, markers and stickers soon.
